What information do I need?
To find spare parts for your product, you can search for resp. 1. Model or 2. Product number. If your product has a product number, you should search for it, as it is more specific than the model.
When cleaning the outside of the tumble dryer, it can be done with a cloth dampened in a mild detergent. Please note that strong detergents can damage the surfaces of the tumble dryer. Always follow the instructions given by the manufacturer of the cleaning agent for the safest surface wash.
If you have an exhaust dryer, the exhaust hose and outlet pipe must be cleaned regularly. The exhaust hose should have as few bends as possible. This is because the moist air can condense and turn into water. This is important as a bend approx. has the same condensing effect as a one meter hose.
Remember to also clean the filter of dirt. If the filter on your tumble dryer becomes full, it may risk increased drying time and will therefore strain your tumble dryer.
The dryer's lint filter can have different shapes and sizes depending on the model and is typically located in the door of the dryer. Dust filters must typically be cleaned after each drying. If the fluff remains on the filter, it can be removed with a soft brush and running water.
