If your Siemens dishwasher shows error code E13, the cause is a build-up of scale on the heating element. This error can be solved by decalcifying the dishwasher and then checking whether the salt level is set correctly.
If your Siemens dishwasher shows error code E14, the cause is a fault in the filling system or a fault in the water supply. This error can be resolved by replacing the flow meter.
If your Siemens dishwasher shows error code E15, the cause is water in the bottom of the dishwasher. This error can be solved by replacing the thermostat.
However, it is important to find the cause of error code E15, as the error code is likely to reoccur after a few wash cycles.
Blocked drain pump: Check if the drain pump is blocked. You can identify a faulty pump by listening for abnormal sounds or lack of activity when the dishwasher tries to pump water out.
Defective water valve: If the drain hose is intact, the fault may be due to a leak in the water valve. If there are visible traces of limescale around the water valve, it is likely that the valve is defective.
Defective spray arms: Examine the spray arms to see if they have come apart at the assembly. If they are separated, you should consider replacing the spray arms.
These are potential causes of error code E15 and it is important to inspect and correct the problem according to the specific cause to get your Siemens dishwasher working properly again.

If your Siemens dishwasher shows error code E16, the cause is a fault in the filling system or a fault in the water supply. This error can be solved by replacing the aquastop.
If your Siemens dishwasher shows error code E17, the cause is a fault in the filling system or a fault in the water supply.
Start by draining the water from the hidden bottom of the dishwasher. This is done by carefully tilting the dishwasher back at an angle of 90 degrees. Make sure you have towels ready on the floor to soak up the excess water.
After the bottom is emptied, you can try to start the dishwasher again. Be aware that error code E17 will recur until you identify and fix the cause of the leak. Therefore, proceed to the next step.
Remove the side panel of your Siemens dishwasher and examine the inside for any traces of limescale. Once you have located where the limescale stops, you have also found out which component needs to be replaced. Often it is a faulty solenoid valve, a damaged aquastop, a faulty side chamber or a leaky seal that causes the leak and error code E17.
If your Siemens dishwasher displays error code E18, the cause is a fault with the filling system or a fault in the water inlet has been registered. This error can be solved by replacing the drain pump.
If your Siemens dishwasher displays error code E19, the cause is a fault with the dispenser. This error can be caused by a defective dispenser but can also be caused by other defects in other electronics.
If your Siemens dishwasher displays error code E20, the cause is a fault with the thermostat or temperature sensor. This error can be solved by replacing the thermostat.
If your Siemens dishwasher displays error code E21, the cause is a fault with the rinse pump. This error can be resolved by replacing the flush pump.
The error code E22 on a Siemens dishwasher appears when there is water at the bottom of the machine that it cannot drain properly. To solve this problem and get your dishwasher working normally again, you can follow the steps below:
Clean the bottom filter: Start by cleaning the bottom filter by following our regular maintenance tips. Often this step will be sufficient to solve the problem and your Siemens dishwasher will no longer display the error code E22.
Check the drain pump: While you have the filters out for cleaning, you should also inspect the drain pump for any foreign objects. It can be things like toothpicks, food scraps or broken glass. You can usually remove these foreign objects by pulling them out through the hole where the pump is located, under the bottom strainer. At the same time as you remove foreign objects, you should also check whether the pump vane can turn freely. If the pump vane cannot turn, the drain pump is probably defective and needs to be replaced. This is a repair you can do yourself. You can find a step-by-step video guide for replacing the drain pump below.
If your Siemens dishwasher displays error code E23, the cause is a fault in the drain pump. This error can be solved by replacing the drain pump.
If your Siemens dishwasher shows error code E24, the cause is a water level error. This error can be solved by replacing the drain pump.
If your dishwasher cannot drain the water properly and the error code E24 is displayed, you will often notice that there is water in the bottom of the dishwasher when you open it. Here are some steps to solve this problem:
Clean the bottom strainer: Start by cleaning the bottom filter by following the instructions in the attached video, where we show how you can easily clean the bottom filter in your dishwasher.
Check the drain hose: If you have cleaned the bottom strainer but still get error code E24, it may be due to a blocked or damaged drain hose. To check this, turn the program selector to "Off" and pull the plug from the socket. Check whether the drain hose is free of kinks. Loosen the tension band on the water trap and carefully remove the drain hose. Be aware that residual water may run out, so please have a towel ready to dry up. Clean the drain hose and plug on the water trap. Then hold the end of the hose down in a bucket and select the pump-out program. When the pumping is complete, connect the drain hose to the water trap and check that everything is tight.
Defective drain pump: If you have cleaned the bottom strainer and checked the drain hose as described in step 2, but still get error code E24, the problem may be due to a blocked or faulty drain pump. In the floor filter cleaning video, we explain how to access and clean the drain pump on older dishwashers, although it is not usually necessary on newer machines. If you have cleaned the drain pump (or determined that it is not necessary), it may be necessary to replace the drain pump. You can find a suitable drain pump by entering your model in the search field below.
If your Siemens dishwasher displays error code E25, the cause is a fault with the drain pump. This error can be solved by replacing the drain pump.
If your Siemens dishwasher displays error code E26, the cause is a fault with the water supply switch. This error can be solved by replacing the aquastop.
If your Siemens dishwasher shows error code E27, the cause is a fault with the mains or the supply voltage is less than 170V. This error can be resolved by examining the power cord and voltage.
If your Siemens dishwasher displays error code E28, the cause is a fault with the flowmeter. This error can be resolved by replacing the flow meter.
If your Siemens dishwasher displays error code E29, the cause is a fault with the thermostat or temperature sensor. Usually the error code E22 occurs due to a leak in the dishwasher. To identify the defective spare part that causes this error, you can follow the lime trace. Once you've located the problem area, you can replace the appropriate spare part to fix the problem.
If your Siemens dishwasher displays error code E31, the cause is a fault with the drying system. This error can be resolved by replacing the Zeolith container.
If your Siemens dishwasher shows error code H06, the reason is that the delayed start function has been activated. The error code H06 probably indicates that the delay start has been set. To solve this problem, you can press the Time Advance button (if you are not sure where it is located, refer to the user manual) and hold it until the display shows "00". After this action, your dishwasher should normally be usable again. Note that the H06 error code can also occur with incorrect signal strength and relaxant settings. If in doubt, it is recommended to consult your dishwasher's instruction manual for further guidance.
