Build-up plate difficult to turn on

If your build plate is difficult to turn on, the cause could be one of the following:

• An incorrectly installed hob can also be the reason why your cooktop zone is difficult to light. Electric stoves have 3 different 230V phases. If one of these phases is missing (typically 1 phase or zero), it will cause 2 cooking zones to stop working.
• If you own an induction hob and it is only the front or the back that does not work, you must be aware that the pan is large enough and meets the requirement for minimum diameter, which is typically written in the user manual.
