Stove stinks
If your stove stinks, can it be due to the following:
If your stove is new, this is a very common problem. The odor comes from the insulation or a protective oil layer used during the production of the stove, which is affected by heat of the first time. This will make the stove smell. However, this will disappear after the stove has been used a few times.
If your stove smells burnt, it comes from the food that has landed at the bottom of the stove. This is the most commonly seen bug for bad stove odor, and is eay to remove. If your stove comes with a selv-cleaning function it can only be used under certain conditions. There must be good ventilation so that the heat can escape. Likewise, your kitchen must also have ventilation, to make the smoke escape. You can do this by opening a window. Remove all grates from the hob and remove ny food debris that is easy to remove. Then set the cooker for self-cleaning, as instructed by the manual for your cooker. When done, let the stove cool down. Then make a mixture of vinegar and water in a cleaning bucket, where you then wash teh walls of the stove with the vinegar mixture.
