Step 1:
If your hob cannot be regulated, it may be due to a defective switch/power regulator. In some cases, a hob will have more than one switch. If this is the case, try swapping the two switches around. If this solves the problem, it will be necessary to replace the faulty switch.
Step 2:
If your hob has problems getting hot, or the hob has problems turning on, the cause may be both the regulator and the hob. In some cases, a hob will have more than one switch. Again, we recommend swapping the two around. If this does not solve your problem, it is probably the hob that is faulty.
