Refrigerator-freezer no light in cabinet

If your refrigerator-freezer has no light in cabinet, can it be due to the following:

• If your refrigerator-freezer has no light, it may be due to a bad bulb. You can solve the problem by taking out the bulb and inserting a new one. When you take the bulb out, check if it is broken in the filament and shake the bulb slightly. IF you can hear any rumbling inside the bulb, it's broken.
• The fuses in the refrigerator-freeer door controls the amount of volts sent to the bulb when you open the door. Therefore, if the fuse in the refrigerator-freezer is defective, there will be no light in the cabinet. The location of the fuse depends on the model of the refrigerator-freezer, but typically it can be found in the internal edge of the cabinet. Carefully remove the fuse and measure of continuity with  a continuity meter. If there is continuity, the fuse must be replaced.
