Freezer freezes too much

If your freezer freezes too much, can it be due to the following:

• To make surue that there is at least minus 18 dregrees in the entire freezer, measure in the middle of the cupboard between the foods that are not directly on the shelf or close to cooling surfaces.
• Your thermometer may be incorrectly calibrated or defective. If you have measured yourself with a thermometer, it is completely normal if your freezer is -23 degrees when the temperature meter shows -18.
