Hood does not suck

If your hood cannot suck, the reason may be the following:

• Your ventilation from your hood can be affected in several ways. This can be anything from a faulty blower vane to a clogged litter or grease filter. A defective blower vane cannot create the circulation that sucks the food into the hood. By replacing the fan blades, your hood will now work as it should again.
• A clogged carbon or grease filter will greatly limit the suction power of the hood. Therefore, it is important to clean or replace your filter, as especially grease filters will not only affect suction, but will also pose a fire hazard.
• It can also be caused by a kink or break in the exhaust hose. This must be in order to get efficient extraction for your hood, and will therefore result in a lower electricity bill.
