Stove fault on zone

If there is a fault on your stove's zone, the cause may be the following:

• The error on the cooking zone may be due to a faulty switch/power regulator. If this is the case, the hob will always be at the highest heat level, with no option to turn it down. If there is more than one switch, try swapping the two around. If this does not solve the problem, it will be necessary to replace the faulty switch.
• If the hotplate on your stove cannot be lit or it does not produce any heat, you can do as above. See if there is more than one switch. If this is the case, try switching the two around. If this is not the problem, it is due to a faulty switch.
