Espresso machine does not grind

If your espresso machine cannot grind, the reason may be one of the following:

• Your espresso machine may be full of coffee grounds that block the grinder. The grinder is designed to grind whole beans which leave small particles which can get stuck in the bottom and top burrs.
• If your espresso machine has problems heating up the water, it may be due to limescale. You can descale your espresso machine heating element with our professional descaling agent "lime-free", which we have developed ourselves, which can be used across your household products.
• Sand with the machine's coarsest setting. This allows the largest trapped particles to be released from the discharge tube. Then slowly adjust your grinder to finer settings while the grinder is still running. In this way, you gradually knock out the smallest particles that were put into the machine. Jumping to a fast sanding setting too quickly may cause another clog in the machine.
